I've been trying to install Chamilo through the cPanel "Add website", and it does not complete successfully.

I get:

cURL Error : Operation timed out after 120000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

When I try to get back to the cPanel, it's completely borked until I close the browser and log back in from scratch.

Internal Server Error
500
No response from subprocess (cpanel (cpanel)): The subprocess exited with status 122 (EDQUOT).

cpsrvd/11.48.4.8 Server at xo7.x10hosting.com

Any help will be appreciated.

Your quota had been exceeded. Delete any files or/and folders you don't need stored under your account.

I had similar message with another CMS. Try uninstalling it and installing it again. If X10 offer that LMS is because it can be installed on the servers, I suppose.

I can't uninstall, there's nothing else there.

I don't have anything else installed except a barebones web site. There's no email, no database... nothing else really.

I don't even see where space requirements are listed. How are you sure it's a space limitation?

This isn't to do with the remaining space. This is to do with the amount of files and folders that are under your account.

If they were to exceed the storage then they would've got deleted after a few hours due to being over 10MB anyway.
Unfortunately, because of this issue you can't access cPanel so this is going to be a little more tricky to try to figure it out.

Are there just only 3 files?

is that not the same as --> "the OP's account has exceeded its disk quota"
disk quota is disk space the account can use

I have three files on my web site totaling 15k.
How to check your account's disk usage on x10hosting free-hosting server
in [ cPanel-x3 ] theme's home page (not x10hosting Basic) - look down left side for [ Disk Space Usage ] - you might need to open ( click on ) [ Stats ]

be sure to check the number of [ inodes ] used - 50,000 is the maximum

Cron jobs can put a lot of Emails on your account (over time) - each one counts as a file

Yes, there's an index page (2.15kb) and two graphics (1.99kb + 10.59kb) in a directory called "images". There's also an empty cgi-bin directory.

I can access cPanel; it gets wonky after an abended install, but seems to reset itself after a short amount of time.

There must be other overhead in the folders outside of public_html, but even so, I'm not sure why Chamilo would require so much storage. The Chamilo tar.gz is about 173MB.

Maybe a better question to pose to the community is a recommendation for a training repository. My intent is to create a website to put learning materials (.ppt/.pdf or equivalents, training courses, reference materials, templates, etc.) for a complicated PLM system for my coworkers. I wanted to install Chamilo to check it out.

Could my issue be related to metered disk space? I see that pop up in other threads.
