I have an add on domain for a particular site, in directory A. I've created a new version of the site using wordpress in directory B (and A and B are at the same level of my directory hierarchy). How can I switch my ad-on domain from A to B so that B becomes the active version of the site?

You can remove the addon domain and readd it as the domain but be sure not to delete he directory. Another thing you can do is change the name of the directory to match the one that is linked.

I tried both of your suggestion. Now I have bigger problems.

I wanted to move the add-on domain from directory A to directory B where I have built a new site.
I tried the least invasive approach, which was to just renamed A to C, and then rename B to A. That worked from an ad-on domain perspective but causde a slew of other problem internal to the site.

Then (after reverting all of the directories to their original names) I dropped the old add-on domain. (directory and files are still there). That worked. Then i tried to create a new add on domain with the same domain name that pointed to the new directory. That FAILED with an error that I have exceeded the number of allowed FTP accounts. Huh? Say whuh?

Now instead of having an old site or a new site i just have no site. Suggestion/help would be appreciated.

Ok, I deleted an FTP account manually. Now I'm getting a new error.

"Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 99.198.122.2,173.236.27.195 "

What does that mean and what to do about it?

Are you using the correct name servers, ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com
