Your main domain must be an x10 domain (the rule changed since you created your hosting account). You can use your custom .me domain as an addon or as a parked domain.

Please select an x10 domain so that the Admins can do it for you.

This has been done, it may take a few minutes before the change is reflected in your account portal and cPanel. And please do note that there may be a couple hours before the propagation has cleared and the domain is fully functional around the globe, though often it is faster.

I've done changing and updating my WordPress settings for the new URL
also tried ipconfig /flushdns but still I still get defaultwebpage.cgi page..

Any ideas?

It works for me just fine now (both your new main domain and the .me) -- it generally takes 15-20 minutes after being added on as an addon/parked domain before it starts working on our end, so chances are you simply didn't wait long enough

If it still doesn't work for you, try clearing your browser and DNS caches one more time.
