Just upload your site files to the "public_html" folder in the root directory.

If you mean having a different page as your default page that can be done from your cpanel. Down the bottom it says index manager. Use that tool to add a new index filename which will become the default page in the directories.

I'm REALLY new too but here's 2 options:
Click on "Upload Files"...browse UR HD for those files...Upload...just make sure that the HTML files are being placed in the Public_html folder...this is your shared folder.

Option 2:
1) in the meantime b4 U get an answer...U can go to you cPanel (which should be: http://cossacks.x10hosting.com:2082)
A) Navigate to the public_html folder (note Clicking on the WORD selects but does NOT navigate...U have to click on the little icon to the left f the word)
B) At the Top, click on "Create New File"
C) Copy & paste from your HTML Editor (Frontpage or whatever) to this file

Hope this helps,
Josh

Ok, a simple fix is to open the web page you want as your main one with notepad, then copy ALL the text. Then go and edit the page you want to replace, and delet ALL the text, then right click and past the text from the other page. Save it, then try it out, and it SHOULD work. Hope this helps.

Hello,

It seems your problem has been solved so I am going to close this.

Thanks for using x10Hosting.
