Hey guys. Ok, I have googled this, and the only thing I could find was the thing I didn't want.

Basically, this is what I want to do. On computers that come from HP (which is what I have), right after the Windows XP Load screen (the one that says Windows XP Home, etc, and has that status bar), and before you get to the logon screen, there is a little image displayed for HP. It doesn't stay on long, but I would really like to change it. Anybody have ANY idea how to?

lol why would you want to change it? i mean my sony blinks its logo and then my intel HT processor blinks its logo before the boot

its not like removing it would increase your start up time..significantly, anyway

No no, I mean the screen that comes on AFTER the XP loading screen, and before the login screen.

Thats easy, try this:
start/run
type msconfig then enter
then go to start up and check if there is an option there.
Hp etc will have a splash screen program that is exected on startup, simply uncheck the box and go apply.

Or if that doesnt work, try a re-format that will fix it for sure.
if its on the motherboard bios, you need a program to edit it.
Get it from google or pm me.

But your problem is in the software, so try the first stage.
Hope this helps.
