x10hosting Staff,
In your Terms of Service it says that you can't host chat/ shoutbox scripts. Does this mean that you cant write your own chat script? If so, Is shoutboxes from MyShoutbox and things allowed?

You're allowed to use a chatscript if it doesn't use x10hosting's resources; meaning the ones like MYShoutbox are perfect - they actually run on MyShoutbox's servers, so it doesn't hurt x10hosting
