what is the purpose of your forum, why should i join? is it "just another community" ? do you have a focuspoint?. I see that you have Music as "main Theme" you going to offer a platform for new artists or and if so, do they have the possibility to show their work (can they upload their songs and videos to your site?)
The forum of your choice would definatly not be my choice, don't really know it to be honest but it doesn't look very "extendable" (like adding new features and such), of course i understand your site will be a work in progress so i might take another look a bit later but for now it would not be a site that appeals to me
