Chopin has been fully backed up, we will be taking it down shortly to start the hardware upgrade and reinstall.

Any updates regarding Chopin's progress will be posted in this thread.

Please note, we will only automatically restore accounts that were NOT suspended as of July 16th, 2010. Any accounts that were suspended will need to request a restore manually after everyone else has been restored.

Took a lot longer to get this server up and running than we anticipated. We started setup about 30 minutes ago.

Probably another couple hours left of setup on this.

We're going to also run a burn in script on this server... a bit worried about some things we're seeing during setup and want to make sure it is stable before restoring any accounts.

This server has been fully setup, however we are seeing some symptoms of a possible drive issue. Because of the amount of work involved in restoring accounts we are holding off on restores until we have a solution. We are currently working with our DC in diagnosing the issue and hope to start restores soon. We have imaged the drive with R1Soft if we end up needing to replace the drives we should be able to restore the image saving us a few hours of setting the server up again.

As we find out more I will update.

I believe we may have resolved the issue... at least confident enough to start restores. Will give some type of ETA tomorrow after we have some stats.

We're restoring roughly 100 accounts per hour currently.

I'm about to turn on the load balanced web servers for this server.

ETA for Chopin to finish restores is about 90 minutes. The part of Fris we are restoring to this server will continue though.

We will be opening support for this server tomorrow to restore databases, files, etc... Please check the bottom of the main news thread tomorrow for support information.

Restore of unsuspended accounts has been completed. Users on Chopin may now request support via the account panel. Submitting a support thread via the account panel will automatically make the thread on the forums for you.
