I have no issue using a x10hosting free-hosting sub-domain like [ domain.x10host.com ] - with CloudFlare - setup through cPanel

I do have issues with CloudFlare's support !

My domain is blah blah blah.x10host.com The cloudflare button in the CPanel when you try to use it to sign up gives you a popup, from cloudflare that says this account cant be setup because that domain is already registered as x10host.com and thats the end of that. I wish someone would fix this issue, or use a black marker and scribble out that cloudflare logo

I believe there was a thread regarding this issue.
You have to use an addon domain since Cloudflare is detecting a sub-domain and as you know, you can set your own sub-domains via CPanel, and adding one main domain allows you to do all of the sub-domains, so this is a reasonable thing.
Remember that this was from what I've picked up and is a guess, so I could be wrong.

You do not need to add a domain - x10hosting's free-hosting sub-domains work with cPanel's [ Cloudflare ]

the OP has a issue with his account - others have no issue with cPanel's [ Cloudflare ]

I did say that I could be wrong lol.
So Cloudflare doesn't do such detection?

By 'every server', you mean domains?
Talking about servers, this may or may not be useful but what server are you on?

Well, i can certainly rectify that, ive been trying for quite awhile to get staff to fix this issue, and cant even get a straight answer, Now you say, its only MY account that is jacked up. Thanks for that info. That being the case. Simply leaving X10 hosting can cure that. You have a nice day, and thanks for that heads up.

Me nor bdistler are staff members. We are trying to help out. A staff member will most likely have the resources to fix issues like this. Believe me, it seems that a few people are having these issues based on the threads posted.
Because of those facts, it's most likely that not all members will know the thing which is causing the issue as they have no access to your account (not saying for you to put out any info of any kind) and I would also like to point out that it was never said that the issue was ONLY on your account (though it COULD be), I wouldn't get so worked up on that, many people had issues which only affected their account and got solved fairly quick.

Please be aware that X10Hosting is a partner of Cloudflare and X10Hosting doesn't own Cloudflare so it can be very hard to get a straight answer. As this is a "certain-account" issue, it could be just on the X10 server and regarding something in that account which hasn't been configurated correctly.

All you could do is hope that a staff member has found the thing causing this.

Hi tropic23,

CloudFlare support appears to be enabling fine for an x10 subdomain on your server, xo4. Is your .x10host.com domain is already registered with CloudFlare, perhaps on an old account? :)

Edit: It looks like a cancellation request is active for your account. I'll go ahead and lock this thread, and I wish you the best of luck at your new hosting provider. ;)

Thank you,
