CloudFlare Error DNS (Free Host example.x10hosting.ecc)

I installed Cloudflare and i completed the signup. I added my website (Free Host example.x10hosting.com) but when i try to add the DNS he says "error 1099", put only domains and not subdomains (?, then why x10hosting installed cloudflare?)

I do no know what you did or how you did it - but here is x10hosting's "Official" way to do it...for free-hosting accounts

*.whatever.tld is considered a sub-domain.
If you want to use the way you're wanting to use then use a custom domain (*.tld), else you'll have to use the method @bdistler had mentioned which supports sub-domains.
