CNAME change

Hi, I'm having trouble with getting my google email to work under this and I think I did the MX change right but it says I still need to make my CNAME go to ghs.google.com

Can this be changed please?

My domain is suzyqgraphicdesigns.com

it should say what the cname entry is for, such as mail or apps etc

I'm using Google Apps if that's what you mean. It says I need to have my CNAME go to ghs.google.com

I'm not sure about the MX records either because it says I need to enter these:

Priority Mail Server 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
10
ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
10
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.

but on my cPanel it won't let me do that.

Sure it will your cpanel will let you enter all the MX records.

The cname, it should say something like add a cname for "mail" to "ghs.google.com" or something (I dont have google apps to check) but basically the cname has to have a hostname associated with it (and the hostname part in my example is "mail")

It says this:

1. (If applicable) Delete the existing CNAME entry for the alias or unique string.
   For example, if you're creating a CNAME record for 'mail,' be sure to delete any existing CNAME records for 'mail.'
2. Use the information in this table when you create your CNAME record. Terms used to create CNAME records vary by host. Always use google.com for verification and ghs.google.com for custom urls.
   Host Name/Alias ::: Value/Destination Custom URL: pages ::: ghs.google.com
   
   Verification: googlefffggghhh12345 (your unique string) :::
   google.com

I need to change it for my mail to work under google so I assume it's the cname record for mail yes.

And about the MX records, when I added 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. it still showed 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. but when I added 5
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. it deleted the first 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.

Should I look for another host? I'm sorry but I can't even find my thread anymore, I had to go into my user panel and find threads I've started because apparently this was moved even though the same issue was fixed numerous times in the forum I started this thread in. Then I couldn't find it in the forum it said it was moved to so I assume it went back a few pages. Can someone please help me with this? The others who requested the same thing got it done with one quick reply. I don't get why this is so difficult for my account. Please help. Thanks.
