I've been trying to use Thunderbird to send/receive my emails from/to my X10 account. I can receive but can't seem to send. Looking at the error message and reading these forums , the problem seems to be the SMTP settings. I thought I would look into the sendmail method but I can't seem to find anything here on how to set it up (I have asked and had accepted a request to upgrade my account to intermediate PHP) and how to actually implement it to send/receive email. I've no experience with either(sendmail/PHP) so a real 'dummies guide to.......' would be very helpful.

Sorry, just reread taht and realised I wasn't very clear. I'm happy using Thunderbird to read my emails but what I want to know is what I need to do to be able to allow someone to click a 'mail me' type address on a Dreamweaver created website so taht my x10hosting setup will forward it. Thanks.
