Edit: Ok I think maybe my account does not have a function to change the primary domain.. Is this true?? I have the free hosting with out adds. If this is the case what do I need to upgrade to and with the add sites are the banners vertical or horizontal??
Ok I did search the forums but I'm still alittle confused here.
I have a domain name registered at Bluehost.com and I was using Awardspace's free hosting and they let me use my own Domain name so when I uploaded my files and everything it showed as my domain name ( furnaps.com ) and I didnt have to do anything with parked or ad on domains that I know of ( Unless it didnt mention it ) all I did was add my Domain name into a box and update my nameservers and it used my domain name.
My question Is How do I do that here?? I tried using the parked domain thing and changing my nameservers but I think it takes 48 hours to update if that is what I was supposed to do... And I added phpbb to my own domain with the control panel instead of furnaps.exofire.net.... Im not sure if this is what I wanted to do or not I want furnaps.com My domain to be my main domain.
I basically just want to use my domain name and host my site here without using any subdomains or anything..
So is that was I was supposed to do?? and if not what am I supposed to do? Is there an option I overlooked on the Cp or something??
I really dont understand parked domains or what they are.. I just know when I was using award space I could use my own Domain name and upload everything to furnaps.com...Thats the only thing I liked about that place because I keept getting 404 errors there. So I hope I can figure thins out I really like your service so far and If I can do what I am hoping to do I would say you guys are the best for sure from what I see.
