Confused student!

Hi im a student studying digital media and i have a problem. I had wordpress installed to run on the x10site i signed up for....and it was working fine until i tried to move it.
I went into the settings file on the wordpress admin and changed the address to my normal adress instead of the /wp address that was on there originally thinking this would move it....but it hasnt and now i cant get into the blog part of my site at all. And i am totally confused as to how to fix it.

Any help as to how to get my blog back and how to put it on the home domain rather than an extension would be ace...thanks

Move all files from /wp to public_html..

everything will work again.
or just copy files and open the setting again... then change the path to old one and then delete files from public_html except /wp folder

I have just deleted wordpress and tried to reinstall but it wouldnt let me at the moment said to try again later. When i reinstall will that make it work ok or will i still have to move all the files?

It said there were some errors found when trying to install. this wont be because i have already had it and deleted it will it?

just empty your database. then run install again

Are you getting any errors. post back here

If you are unable to access it. clear your browser cache and Flush your DNS

No it was just saying the server could not find it. I can access it with the url you just posted though. Why is that? This is all pretty new to me so im verrryy confused! :nuts:

Flush Your DNS and clear your browser cache and then try again..

If still no luck then maybe your router is blocking port 2082...
restart router and then try again...

Starka is transfer to new server... may be this is a bug.. I am going to tell staff about that..

How do i go about flushing DNS? will this fix the no softaculous problem?

I have deleted the wordpress database under the MYSQL databases bit. sorry im not brill with all this as you may be able to tell
