I've been ftping my files using Dreamweaver. The first time I try, it connects very quickly. Then I am able to upload files for a few minutes and then it randomly disconnects in the middle of an upload. When I try to reconnect it usually takes several attempts and then it ends up disconnecting after a few more minutes. I don't know if I am limited by time, # or size of files being uploaded or what, but this is VERY frustrating. Could it be an issue with my connection properties, or is this just something I have to live with because it's free?

It seems the problem is here to stay, and you have to try to configure your ftp client (in your case Dreamweaver) not to be as aggressive, i.e. use less connections.
