connection timed out

my site romrs.net is on your lotus server, and i saw the recent announcement that "Any issues with Lotus should be resolved. If you are continuing to experience problems, seek support."

i still am getting a "connection timed out" error as of jan 31, 2010, 4.17pm pst.

or even just go to http://romrs.net or http://www.romrs.net

kindly help me, i can assure you my domain registration's working fine, and i haven't changed any code recently on my site.

Your DNS entries are not set properly. Your DNS is currently set as:

DNS1: ns-canada.topdns.com
DNS2: ns-usa.topdns.com
DNS3: ns-uk.topdns.com

They should be set as:

DNS1: ns1.x10hosting.com
DNS2: ns2.x10hosting.com

hey adam, thanks for the response

however, my dns entries point to my domain registrar's servers, and in my zone on their servers i have the appropriate a records to point to my ip address at x10hosting. i've always used that setup and never changed it. that setup was also provided to me by x10hosting support way back.

the reason for my recent downtime is the server migration announced at http://status.x10hosting.com/ because i'm on lotus. however, as the announcement said, i shouldn't be experiencing any issue anymore since lotus has already been migrated. nonetheless i still am getting a "connection timed out" error.

74.63.233.25 is the new IP of lotus..

Did you add A record to that IP

thanks, boss. tried that out, that could be it! because i was given 69.162.70.130 as the ip address to point to last aug 17, 2009. i've already edited my a record to 74.63.233.25. checked http://romrs.net and http://www.romrs.net but still got "connection timed out." hopefully it's still propagating (though my records usually propagate quite fast in the past.) will keep checking, but hopefully you could still keep lookin too. thanks much!

Give it some time... It will work.

remember DNS propagation can take upto 48 hours..
