Connections from WordPress.com Allowed?

Hello there,

I am trying to reconnect my Jetpack plugin on my site alexanderkahrs.com to WordPress.com, and got the following error:



I wanted to confirm if the free hosting still allows connections from WordPress.com, because if so then I need to figure out what the problem is beyond that. Thank you!

I'm on xo7.x10hosting.com with WordPress 4.8 and don't have this issue. What server are you on?

Just a heads up, I followed the troubleshooting guide provided by the Jetpack team: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/

I disabled all my other plugins and got Jetpack working again, so now I'm going to find what plugin caused the error, if any. It does seem whatever the issue was, it wasn't a host-related one! For documentation purposes I'll post any further updates (i.e. what plugin caused the error), if that's alright with the moderators here. I think this issue is resolved otherwise!
