What are the terms on copyrighting a website and where can i do this? I reside in Canada if that makes a difference.

Just add the © sign to the end of your page.
Such as at the end of the page you would put this:
© 2008 Senor Corp. and it's affiliates.
Or whatever. You don't really need a license. You just need to update the year as it moves along. And if you don't update it, I think you have 100 years until the work becomes uncopyrighted.

I don't know about Canada's laws, however I do know here in the US, anything that you make is technically copyrighted to you. Trademarks, I think they need to be something in terms of a registration regardless.
