Hey i wonder what you do with those that upload copyrighted material at x10hosting?
I dont like those guys just want to know what you do with them.

When caught, their account is put on suspension. While on suspension, you cannot visit the site from the Web. The owner cannot access his files or databases via cPanel or FTP. He is not allowed to download, upload, or delete anything. After 14 days (or more, depending on the queue), if he has not successfully appealed the suspension (extremely rare), the account and all its contents are deleted.

Do you think the police would be interested in someone in Pakistan using anime copyrighted in Japan and hosted on US servers? And which police would you report it to? Karachi, Osaka, or Chicago?

It is basically a civil matter anyway. The copyright holder would sue those using the material. But first they would have to find the culprit. If x10hosting allows people to offer copyrighted material, they become the target.

just a thought if you delete the content of the suspended account the copyright holders wont got any proof? that they acually published copyrighted material

i try getting you to understand if a user is uploading copyrighted material and you delete the content(proof) then you could be the one they sue? Since then the copyright holders wont got the proof needed in court.

no just store it somewhere for a month or so and if the copyright holders come and ask without you have it saved they got no proof and cant sue the guy that publiched copyrighted material.

if you dont store the suspended users files somewhere for the copyright holder to have proof in court they can finish the copyright infriment so if i were you i would keep the copyright breakers information/ files for like 1 month and then if the copyright holder dont show up in that month you can delete it. Else they could target you to sue.

If the copyright holders noticed the site, they would have certified copies of what was online. That would be their proof.

Then they would try to sue some guy that has to use a free hosting service. If they can find him. If he is somewhere where they can sue (ie, not China, Iraq, or several other copyright unfriendly countries).

Don't worry about x10hosting. I'm sure their lawyers have advised them about their rights and responsibilities.

Add: And, no. As long as x10hosting puts forth a good faith attempt to police their users, a lawsuit against them would go nowhere.
