Could not connect to MySQL error when transferring Joomla site

I am moving a Joomla site to x10hosting. I have copied over all the subdirectories and exported, then re-imported the SQL database. I edited the configuration.php file to reflect the new password and other changes. When I try to access my site, I get, "Database Error: Unable to connect to the Database: Could not connect to MySQL"

It sounds like a simple password problem but I'm sure that's not it. What am I not seeing?

Hello,

Make sure you have created the Mysql user in cPanel and that user has access to the database.

Thanks, I got it. I reversed the user and the database names in configuration.php.
