Could not connect to MySQL

Help me! Something has happened, when I load my site it says, error, could not connect to mysql. I have a Joomla site and I was just adding a new menu item and this error appeared. Now the whole site doesn't work
I'm on the lotus server.
And when I refresh the page it says, google chrome could not connect to...

Also the cpanel isn't loading for me
is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

hi, i'm having the same problem exept my my cpanel is saying that MYSQL is offline is this a temporary problem as my site runs on PHP and so I require MYSQL to be working the same as the above

Thanks for replying, I'm glad I'm not alone, it must be X10, they've had lots of problems lately. I hope they get them fixed soon.

I think it is working again, but it is very slow
