I am trying to get my website to show up. It shows up as the subdomain assigned when I signed up for hosting (http://rapturebride.x10hosting.com). I pointed the name server at my domain provider to NS1.X10HOSTING.COM and NS2.X10HOSTING.COM 3 days ago, but my site will still not show up using my domain name, http://rapturebride.info. What am I doing wrong? How can I get my site to show up? I have switched from another server and am now frustrated not being able to get my site up when every day that goes by, people are getting error messages when trying to access rapturebride.info. Any advice that can be given would be greatly appreciated.

You can log in and change the domain name of the primary domain in your account management panel. I will edit the httpd file to reflect the new domain.

You do want the rapturebride.info domain as the primary domain correct? I want to make sure before i make any changes.

To change the x10 hosted domain log into http://x10hosting.com/account using forum name and password. Make sure you check the box to use custom domain.

Chris, thank you so much for your quick response. I checked the box to use a custom domain name, filled http://rapturebride.info in the box and clicked on "Confirm Domain" and got the message . . . The domain you've chosen is currently available! I hope that is what you needed me to do.

To answer your question . . .; Http://rapturebride.info is the domain I want as my primary domain.

Thanks again for your help Chris.

I have modified the files . Please clear your browsers cache and flush your dns.

Also make sure that the namservers are indeed pointing to x10.

I cleared my browsers cache and double checked to make sure the nameservers were pointing to NS1.X10HOSTING.COM and NS2.X10HOSTING.COM. Excuse my ignorance, but how do you "flush your dns."

Thanks again for the help.

I was just told there is an issue with the dns. But not to worry Corey is on top of it. If your site doesn't show up please be patient as we fix the error.
