cpanel and ftp login

Problem 1:
I have *never* been able to log into cpanel.

Is it possible to have an admin check my account password and login and then explain to me what im doing wrong?

Problem 2:
My ftp access has stopped working. Recently my account was suspended, but then reactivated. So is the reason it stopped working because my ftp password was changed during suspension/activiation?

These problems have really made it difficult for me to work on my site. Any help would be appreciated.
