cpanel error /server error

I have installed Joomla with Fanstico and all has been well up until this morning. I stared experiencing errors installing components. Google searches indicate a permissions problem on the server. I decided to uninstall Joomla and start over. When I click Fantastico in Cpanel to do the uninstall/reinstall, I get the follow in error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1271522903.7533Ur6ArFCFDR on line 28

I suspect something has gone wrong with my installation or configuration on the webserver. I do not see any option in Cpanel to restore any backups. I will need some help with this. Either a restore or complete reset of my account configuration.

I don't think x10 uses fanstico it uses scriptacalous, I guess you should manually. You can wipe your public_html for all your files to be gone and start over.
