I have no idea where to put this problem but I'm sure it won't take much solving.

When I first started to use the CPanel File Manager I was new to the gane. I had no idea that I might need to use hidden files. I clicked on only show unhidden files. Now I want to change it so I can see them all!

Please can you let me know how you change the settings so you can see the hidden files again!

Heh.. That's a VERY good question which stumbled me.. I'm not sure if this will work but.... Add the following to the end of the File Manager URL.

Code:
&showhidden=1&saveoption=1

Like this:

To get the prompt asking whether or not to show hidden files, click on the "reset all interface settings" link at the bottom of the main cPanel page. You could also use an FTP client, such as FileZilla (MS Windows, Linux) or Cyberduck (Mac).
