I just signed-up for a free ad-enhanced web hosting. I can log-in to my account but I can't open cpanel. I've already tried using all lowercase letters but it still doesn't work. Please help me with my problem. And if I can't really open cpanel, is there any other way to upload my site, something like ftp? If nobody can resolve this problem, can I just ask for the removal of my account so that I can sign-up and try again?

When you go to http://rewardmenow.x10hosting.com do you see a welcome page or domain available? if you see the later its because it hasnt picked up the right IP for your domain yet and this is a common problem.

If you run windows you can try running

ipconfig /flushdns

and clearing your webcache..

once you see the welcome page it should work.

I've already tried using all lowercase but it still doesn't work. The cpanel username and password that i will enter is the same one I am using in x10 right?

No, your cpanel username and password is different to the hosting/forum username and password. In your case both usernames are the same, as for the passwords only you will know that. Please referre to the confirmation e-mails for the accounts.

Wait, I'm confused. I get my cpanel account username from one of the confirmation emails or is it the same as the one I used when logging in on x10? And then the password is the same as the one in my account? Or, do I have to create an account on the cpanel website? The emails I recieved are the first email required to activate the account, next is the one with the title "ad-enhanced hosting account confirmation", next is the welcome to the forums message, next is the ad-enhanced hosting account created message, and the last are two messages about account linking confirmation.

they *can* be the same in your case the user IDs at least are but you have to remember cpanel logins are lower case.

We cant see your passwords, but the fact is they can be different.

Try changing your cpanel password via http://x10hosting.com/account and setting it to a simple word. see if it works then.

Thank you very much to those who helped. Turns out I just needed to change my password to one that is compatible with the requirements of cpanel. Thank you very much.
