Hi all,

I can't seem to login to cPanel, it keeps telling me it has failed.

Any ideas?

//EDIT: My password doesn't work for ftp, username is ok, but password is incorrect, hmm

//EDIT2: Update...

I can access the site, ftp and cPanel using the IP address.

Will the URL eventually update?

Try flushing your dns cache and clearing your browsers cache.

Flushing DNS Cache
XP And Below:
1.) Go to start->run.
2.) Type in "cmd" without the quotes.
3.) At the command prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" again without quotes.

Vista:
1.) Click on start->All Programs->Accessories
2.) Right click on the command prompt and pick run as administrator.
3.) At the command prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" no quotes.

Linux:
1.) Open a root terminal or use sudo (in ubuntu or similar systems) with the following command:
- "/etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart" (without quotes)

Mac OSX Leopard:
1.) Use the following command in a terminal window:
- "dnscacheutil -flushcache" (without quotes)

Mac OSX 10.5.1 and before:
1.) Use the following command in a terminal window:
- "lookupd -flushcache" (without quotes)

Hi,

I already flushed the dns cache, I read it in the FAQs, I think. I will do it again also.

I will clear the browser cache now though....

Thanks.

//EDIT: Still no luck :(

I did get this email before the confirmation email:

This email is being sent to notify you that the hosting account that you have signed up for has not been created, due to an error which occurred during the creation process.

The error that occurred was:

Whm error: the username supplied already exists. (code create_1)

The error that occurred can most likely be resolved by signing up again for a hosting account here: http://x10hosting.com/hosting/signup

If you keep receiving this error, please post on our forums for support or forward this email to support@x10hosting.com.

Do you think that has anything to do with it? Is my account working properly?

If you already cleared your cache and temporary files, and made a flush of your DNS and still see the "Domain Available!!" page you need to wait some time for DNS to update/propagate to your zone.
You should meanwhile be able to login to cPanel by: http://74.86.116.188:2082/
