I was able to connect to cPanel earlier but now it is down? I can go to my site with no problem but cPanel is not comming up. Is it down or is this a problem on my end?

Am on stoli I believe. Says account is unsuspended.

Neither one works for me. So am I to assume that I am having this problem alone and it must be a setting on my end?

It times out when I try to go to either link.
Edit:
I still cannot connect to cPanel at all.

I am on stoli.

Is anyone else have this issue?:dunno:

This is really strange because I can get to other cPanel's on other sites so i don't think it is a port being blocked issue. I flushed my cookies and cache...tried it with both IE and FF. And it times out every time. I don't even get the login for cPanel if that means anything.

I have turned my routers firewall off, windows firewall off and every antivirus/security software and still nothing. Did a cold reboot too see if that would help.

Any other idea's.

Thnx

No till nothing.

If i connect just useing 74.86.116.188 I get a screen that says "Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server" and all the other stuff but as soon as I put the port on it it times out.

Sorry for all the probs. If needed you can wipe everything and reinstall/do my account if you think this may do something.

I am also going to try from a friends house just to make sure that is not something on my computer blocking that site w/port. Can't hurt tried everything else.

once again thnx
Edit:
Ok I don't understand this but I can get to the cPanel login from my friends house but it won't let me login. Says invalid username/password. But i came home and nothing.

So my question now I guess is what the ...could be doing this?

Clear your cache & temporary files and make a flush of your DNS and try again.
If you still can't access, do a ping to your website and tell us to which IP it's resolving for you.

Another update.

I think somehow my ip is blocked from your system. If I use a proxy and hide my ip I can log into and use my cPanel. I tried the proxy then without and everytime I was able to only connect if my IP was changed.

Your IP was blocked by the FireWall for multiple cPanel incorrect login.
You should now be able to access your website & cPanel. Make sure you put your username all in lowercases and the correct password for your hosting account.
If you can't login, post back and we'll reset your password and send it to you by PM.

OK well that did it. Not sure why I had so many failed attempts but sorry for the inconvenience on your side. Like I said I can log on and get to the cPanel.

Great. I'll close the thread as it has been solved.
If this happens again, please re-open this thread.
