Any chance of installing cPanel proxy - http://cpanelproxy.net/ on the servers?
It's basically a proxy that uses a subdomain eg cpanel.yoursubdomain.com to mask the 2082 port - useful if you're behind a firewall (as I am at college - which means I cant access my database through phpMyAdmin.
I'm aware this could be installed on my personal account, but 1) That may go against the ToS not sure if it qualifies as a proxy as it is more of a port mapper really.
If, however you install it on the server e.g. at cpanel.x10hosting.com then it would be easy for anyone to use when behind a firewall which blocks all non http or ftp ports. IN addition one authorized installation would be much easier to deal with than several unauthorized installations
It can also be used for the web, mail ports as well.
Any chance of this??
Many thanks
