Any chance of installing cPanel proxy - http://cpanelproxy.net/ on the servers?

It's basically a proxy that uses a subdomain eg cpanel.yoursubdomain.com to mask the 2082 port - useful if you're behind a firewall (as I am at college - which means I cant access my database through phpMyAdmin.

I'm aware this could be installed on my personal account, but 1) That may go against the ToS not sure if it qualifies as a proxy as it is more of a port mapper really.

If, however you install it on the server e.g. at cpanel.x10hosting.com then it would be easy for anyone to use when behind a firewall which blocks all non http or ftp ports. IN addition one authorized installation would be much easier to deal with than several unauthorized installations ;)

It can also be used for the web, mail ports as well.

Any chance of this??

Many thanks

I second this one, it'd be pretty useful for quite a few people.

Noticed this was locked with no definitive response. I'm presuming this was done by your mass locking of support threads

Could a staff member maybe bring this to Coreys attention and let him give a definitive answer?

Thanks
