cPanel Says I've Reached My Quota

There actually is a problem,

I deleted everything from my site, and cPanel still says 238.34/300 MB is used.

So when I do try to upload stuff to my site through FTP I do not have that much room and FTP keeps saying critical error because there is no more space left but this cannot be true.

You seem to have an exessive amount of data in your tmp directory - if you go to file manager and say home directory, then go into tmp, theres a bunch of files there, in fact 240mb worth.

That cleared it up.

There were a bunch of large files that started with cpanel.upload and ended with a bunch of letters and numbers. Can you tell me why that happened and how to prevent it?
