Is there any way to disable /cpanel folder, and/or change 2082/2083 ports to another ones?
It will increase our site's security, and prevent high resource usage -and bandwidth- (some DDoS attacks impacts to common website control panel urls).

Thanks.

If someone does attack the server using the cPanel port, it will not affect your bandwidth usage.

We have our server protected against DDoS attacks which will normally do a good job of protecting them.

You can not change the ports as it is server wide and its best to leave them alone to avoid confusion.

Anyway, It will increase the security, there's bad people over there. Let's leave ports alone, but deleting /cpanel, it's possible?

Sorry for doubleposting, but can't edit the message.

Closing the thread is not the solution :).

I just wanna ask about deleting /cpanel folder!

It can not be done easily since it's a server-wide redirection.
You should be fine. It is very rare that a cPanel account is hacked.
