Quick question: Is my cpanel username the same one that the x10 account panel says is my username?

Yes, it is!

And of course (to clarify) you log in to the Account Panel with the same username as you use to log in to the forums.

I guess it depends on what you did when you signed up.

My cPanel user/pass is different than the Forum and Account Panel (being the last 2 the same).

That's what I just said!

Note that what was asked was "Is my cpanel username the same one that the x10 account panel says is my username?"

ie. your cPanel username is displayed in your Account Panel.
