1). Could someone please tell me 1). Why my previously working cPanel's CGI counters stopped working some time during the summer months of 2013? and 2). How do I get them to work again?
My site is highly specific in content and gets a very modest number of visits so the value of each one is pretty high for me.
My site is http://romanyandronov.elementfx.com/index.html
And the page that used to work is http://romanyandronov.elementfx.com/ryavisits.html
Any help is greatly appreciated.
When I ask the cPanel's FIle Manager to show me the contents of "/var/cpanel/counters" it spins for a while then shows "The directory is empty".

2). I tried to see if I can re-create the counters. No luck. If I click through to CGI counters section from the cPanel's File Manager like so: "cPanel -> FIle Manager -> Software/Services CGI Center -> Counter" then neither counter "preview" button nor "See Styles" page work. Both display a blank square in the place where a counter image should be. It must be a more global issue - CGI counters on this site simply do not work (as of 09/21/2013). Any ideas, other than "look for counters elsewhere"?
Thanks in advance.
