CPU Cap when upgrading phpBB 3.0.4 to 3.0.6

Hello all,

I'm having a REAL nice roadblock this evening. Seems that every time I try and upgrade my forum from phpBB 3.0.4 to 3.0.6, my account is suspended due to a usage spike.

During the upgrade process, there is a one time file algorithm that checks which files need to be updated. By about the 100th file out of 316 or so, the account is suspended.

Is there any way to prevent an account suspension for this matter?

Hmm, well, it seems like it's can't be done on the servers, but you might be able to download all files to a local web server on your computer + the database and do it there.

If you don't have any mods you might be able to use a full install and import the posts, you've have to ask the phpBB support team if that is possible, as I have not tested it
