The site is loading fast for me. Did you tested on the other systems.

I loaded very fast.

You shouldn't bold the links when you hover over them... makes things move around.
Padding on the text area might help make it feel less constricted.

I like it. Has a lot of potential. One question, where is the bottom?

For 10 mins not bad. I like the look, it loads fast, colors are not hard on the eys, the page is not a mile long, overall good design for that quick!
