Cron jobs not running

Anyone else? Just curious. They seem to be swamped, so the help for free host tickets may be a while. I'm on Stoli.

Working on Chopin.

1. Worked before?
2. What does it do?
3. How do you know not working?
4. Any error_log for php script?
5. Check cPanel to see that it is still there?
6. Do you log output?

It runs every five minutes. Was working yesterday. Nothing has changed; it is still there. I log into a file for each run. The log is no longer updating. Sometimes the script does nothing, sometimes it sends out an email or a few.

This error just popped up in the error log:

2012-07-27 15:11:01.487 [INFO] [HTAccess] Updating configuration from [/home/evilelf/public_html/.htaccess]

I have a ticket open, I wonder if there are updating something to fix it.

crond was mysteriously stopped. Restarted it and viola, crons work
