Cronjobs not working on some days!

I have set a cronjob on my site to run on 10.28am IST everyday. But today, it didnt run on 10.28 am EST and yet now, its not run. It was ok in the last days but today it didnt worked. Some days before too this happened to me.
Is the cronjobs having less priority for freehosting or waht?
Pls anyone reply regarding this..

Make sure you have it set to run every day.

Were the drop-outs not just caused by possible temporary server problems at the time?

No.. i tried just now. Still its not working.

btw.. i sent a support ticket for this 2 days ago and none replied yet..

This is Community Support section. Staff don't often look thru here, & the one's that do may not know the answer.

You should have more luck if you open a Support ticket. Give them full details, & don't bump your ticket or it sends it to the back of the queue again.

I'm sending support ticket everyday but they reply to me only once in a while.

If you inundate them with tickets, they'll just ignore you or ban you from Support.

This is a free service & there aren't many resources for labour intensive support problems.

What have their responses to your tickets been?

They reply everytime like 'is the issue still there on the site' and all.. But it havnt got fixed till now

There aren't many people around at the moment tho.

Your best bet is to keep your ticket open & hope someone replies when they have time, or answers on this thread.

Apparently cron should be working.

I have noticed cron jobs not working for several days at a time.

Again, you have a ticket open, that's the best thing you can do, just continue to be patient.

Since this is community support, if anyone can respond that may know the source of the dropouts, or if there's a connection between the cron dropouts and server issues, please post what you know. I don't know if there's a way to know if everyone's cron is gone and any status of getting cron working again.
