CryEngine 3 coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360!

Well, it looks as though that Crytek, besides discontinuing patching the original Crysis for the PC a while ago, has been working on the new CryEngine 3, and it is now coming to the high end current generation game consoles!

I wish there was a HD version of that video because it looks bad.

The engine looks good and everything. I don't know if it was the quality of the video or the engine it self but I noticed a lot of graphical flaws with shadows as well as the frame rate, especially in the larger area scenes.

Hopfully a better quality video will be released soon.

That video is supposably in HD. It's running at HD resolutions but the bitrate is only the speed of a 3Mbps connection, so it's quite small. I'm sure if they cranked up the bitrate, the quality would show more

The tree and level destruction reminds me of the Frostbite Engine by DICE. Looks very promising...
