Hello.
I have recently and randomly decided to check out the "Requirements" for WordPress, which I've used on x10 for over 1.5 years. However, I've noticed the recommendations there:
To run WordPress we recommend your host supports:
As of now, I can only choose to have PHP 5.5 or 5.4, both of which have reached end of life and are no longer fully supported. Because of this, it is possible for security vulnerabilities to be found and potentially exploited. It's basically not safe to stay on these versions.
Is it in consideration to add support for PHP 5.6 anytime soon? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Well, it looks like PHP 5.5 is still kind of supported through the occasional security fix, but WordPress still recommends the newest one.
