well they're doing something, i had no connection at all at my site or my control panel, now I have access to both but my database and user were dumped again, so i basically don't have access to my site, but I can make changes to my files in my file manager, but that's an improvement, since it's exactly as it was the other day and that was resolved, i know that they know how to fix it and it won't be very long

Server is back up, but it is experiencing some very high server loads. Im checking into that now.

thanks Tyler, but I've got another question and it may be completely irrelevant but here goes anyway:

what exactly is the httpd settings for? I mean, the other day when it was down I had ftpd and httpd failed. Today it was just httpd failed and now it's httpd and pop failed, but my site's up and my database and user's back... it's just completely confusing me though most of the time that's not too hard to accomplish hehehe

Looks like everything is up now. Httpd is really Apache its what displays your website (if you unserstand that lol) and cpanel is off sync with the server so sometimes it gives false information on whats up and whats down.

ah, that definitely makes more sense, especially when mysql had crashed and my db was dumped yet it kept showing that mysql was up...

The server is completely down now, nothing I can do. I think someone has a script installed making the server load soo high then crashing it, Corey is going to have to check this one out.
