I have a registered domain, and am unsure why I need a sub-domain. I have a web site built, and it was hosted by another company, which closed the site. This is a family reunion web site I built with Front Page, and worked well on the old host. What is the purpose of registering a sub domain on your site? I just need a site to dump my website files on,

You can do with this method:

1. Point your domain to host sever (Park-domain)

2. Create a sub-domain on the website that you register domain

3. Add sub-domain on cpanel (or add-on domain if possible)
