Custom 404 not showing

Hello,
My custom 404 page i have made is not showing when i goto a link that doesnt work. It comes up with the default 404 page.

URL?
Did you just add the 404 page? If so, how? ie cPanel?

Does that mean that it was working on this site yesterday?

No, i set it about 20 minutes ago. I had set one before. When i was on starka (now im on chopin) and it woeked then but now it doesnt work

Edit: I added it by cpanel.

If you logged onto cPanel or used FTP and you used the address chopin.x10hosting.com, that might be the problem.
Apparently the migration has created two sets of files. Going in via the server name accesses the "old" files. Updates do not show. [at least this is what happened on lotus earlier]

Try logging onto cPanel via ninjagamerz.co.uk:2082 and make your changes.

Humor me.
Go back to cPanel and change the front page. You have "donarions" where it should be "donations" . I just want to see if the edit shows up.


Edit/Add...

Alternatively, post the contents of .htaccess

Looking directly at the .htaccess file is the best way of solving this. You should have a line that looks something like this:
ErrorDocument 404 /errorpages/404.php
