The custom built PCs are the best option in my humble opinion. My brother bought a fantastic custom computer for about $2000 dollars which was better in pretty much every way than 99% of computers on the market at the time. My next computer will definitely be a custom built PC.

Yeah but prebuilt comes with cool stuff. Really cool stuff. Like Mods. And beverage coolers. And PC Manuals. If you get the custom built one, where's the manual?

if you get custom built...you would usually get a manual for each specific part in the system, which would be even better :p

I prefer custom build, cheaper and do not need to pay delivery fee... lol.

Besides, it also have less restriction on upgrading :p

U know why there are delivery fees? Because it cost gasoline. And gasoline costs money.

I hope to have
Intel Conroe E6600
2G 800MHz DDR-2 Corsair Value Ram
250G HD
ATI x1900
19" Acer LCD
2.1 Subwoofer
normal keyboard & mouse

That's all, then OC to 3.0++Ghz and 900++ MHz speed for Processor and Ram

Custom Built PC's For me.
Mainly its becauseo ive always rebuilt PCs myself for me and my clients. Even some of my clients bring prefabricated PC to me and Ask for a Upgrade ( mainly Dells and Acers ) witch more these are built but arent really customise able without a Dell Spec sheet to work through its a nightmare just trying to get things work in these pcs sometimes. Anyhow i usually explain to them how i build pcs extra, they usually say ok ill throw this one in for a better custom built one, and if something goes wrong ill bring it back to you cause you built and you will probably be able to fix it. Its what keeps my buisness alive.
