It should be localhost for the host name. I have this issue today, and Corey was kind and fixed it for me.

ok, go into cpanel, go into the file manager, go to the folder where your forum is, then click on config.php and press edit file. Now take a look at the line that start with $dbhost, you will see mysql.x10.... get rid of that and put localhost in
