Database connection error

I am on the process of installing magento and on the process i encountered this message:

• Database connection error.

Here is my info:
Database Name: perfec39_360
Host: xo4.x10hosting.com

Is this correct?

Please use localhost as the MySQL host, rather than xo4.x10hosting.com.

I keep on receiving this message on the process of installing magento:
"Database connection error."

here is my data in configuration:
Host: localhost
Note: Below are setup inside CP panel
DB name: perfec39_dbname
Username: perfec39_dbuser
pwd: (provided)

Please let me know if this is correct?
