Database corrupted

My website database is not working.

This is the error on my forum:

MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

MyBB Error (44)
Error Message:
MyBB was unable to load the SQL extension. Please contact the MyBB Group for support. MyBB Website

This is the error on PhpMyAdmin:

Unable to establish a PHP session.

If you believe that this is in error or inadvertent, contact your system administrator and ask them to review your server settings.

PhpMyAdmin is working now. Still can't access the forum.

I could try reinstalling the forum, but I will lose all the stuff on it

I also get this error after creating a new forum in a subdirectory D:
(i still have the old forum)

This means a new account, but the TOS says I can only have 1 account.

This happened after I deleted some folders in the root folder. I would have to create a temporary account to copy the default folders to my account.

Temporary account not working:
We've already received a hosting registration with your Internet connection in recent days. Please try again tomorrow.

Anyone got a list (or screenshot) of the folders in the root folder

Webmail has also stopped working, this is since I deleted the files.

Please can a staff member restore my root folder.

you do not have access to your server to link those folders to your account

Free hosting support in this forum is community based (i.e. by volunteers) and most of them do not have access to your free-hosting server - needed to resolve your issue

You said you deleted some empty folders right? I can give you a list of the default folders so you can recreate them.... If you want

empty default folders:
/.cpaddons
/.cpaddons/moderation
/.cphorde/meta
/.cphorde/vfsroot
/.pki
/.pki/nssdb
/.trash
/etc

If any of the other folders were ones deleted there may be deeper issues. These paths however are all empty (except the folders underneath them, which are listed here)

However, it still isn't working.

I looked online, and it said to change the database type in forum config from mysqli to mysql.

It might be easier to delete this account and create a new account to reset the website settings.

I should be able to create a new website/account in 72 hours.

Have you tried checking the 'select PHP version' section in cPanel for if 'mysqlnd' or/and 'mysqli' is not selected?

I would stay with mysqli if possible. It would be much safer.
