Database Error

when going to my site, I receive the following error message:

Error establishing a database connection

Since I pretty much do all my input from my blogging dashboard and don't do anything on my cpanel, I am unsure what to do to correct this.

Obviously there will be no help on this issue. Since my site is not working and I can't get it fixed, I would like to delete my account. Fortunately I have saved my blog.

Should I start a new thread to delete my account or will this suffice?
