Database has been deleted

my sql database for my web is not there ,it has not been deleted by myself-i cannot make a new data base with the same DB name,i cannot make any data bases in my sql data bases

under stats in cpanel it shows 0/3 databases

what has happend?

MySQL has gone down on a couple of the servers, I've told staff.
