I am working on a project which requires the use of a database, and have never actually worked with database in the context of web development before (I have worked with SQL within the context of the Oracle interface, and know how to create, alter, and query databases with SQL... but not how to make that appear on a web page). Do I have to download anything in order to use the database with X10hosting? Or not, because it's up on x10's site? Can anyone give me a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this with x10??? PLEASE HELP... I am so frustrated right now!!!

You have to create a database via the database wizard in cPanel

How do I get to cPanel? I mean, the place where I upload my HTML, etc is called cPanel... but there's no way to create a database from that. I have to go to my main login page, then Databases, then there's a button that reads, "+ add MySQL Database".... I click on that, then fill in what I want to call my database, then I click on the "PHP MyAdmin" button, which takes me to the PHP MyAdmin panel, where I create a database.

Go To > https://x10hosting.com click on login
enter your credentials that will open the cPanel.
find the database wizard and go thru the process of creating a database there, be sure to give yourself all privileges.
Next upload your software installer and go thru the installation process. That will automatically create files in the database while installing your software.
