Database information

I have been trying to find information about my database but so far with no success. (The ones I tried such as mysql-lotus.x10hosting.com did not work apparently)
How do I find my database server hostname and database name?

I can imagine this question have been answered several times but I could not find the answer :dunno:

database server name: localhost
Database names have format username_dbname
where username is your cpanel username, dbname the name you gave it in cpanel.

Note: you also need to create a user and give it permissions to use the database.

Note2: external MySQL access isn't enabled on free hosting.
